Linda Clark, MA, CNC

History for Linda Clark, MA, CNC

Like many health professionals, Linda started her career in nutrition because of her own health odyssey – symptoms of chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivity and extreme adrenal exhaustion. At the time she had been working long hours and six to seven days a week along with raising a family. When her health crashed she was no longer able to work. She sought help from her doctor and was told that there was nothing that could be done to help her and she was sent to the psychotherapist for an evaluation. Even though she was barely able to function, she called some of her clients for referrals to alternative health professionals who might be able to take a further look at her health. Within months of seeking help, she was able to slowly return to a better state of function, but still somewhat limited with some still troubling symptoms.

Linda is the type of person to ask why something is not working. so she went on a quest to find the source of the problem and identify the underlying reasons for her health crash. Over the next seven years, she sought the help of multiple professionals, read voraciously on health so that she could manage her care with more confidence. Linda was finally able to work full time managing a health food store – where she had access to clinical studies and to learning even more about health as well as helping others with their health concerns. She discovered that diet, ongoing complimentary care, and changes in her lifestyle and spiritual outlook were central to her healing. Linda drastically changed her diet to include only whole foods and eliminated gluten and dairy. Food became her medicine!

Within five years into her health journey, Linda knew that she needed to return to school to study health and nutrition. So, she started this practice while she was completing her Masters in Holistic Health and her Holistic Nutrition Certification in 2004. Now, when people come to seek her advice, Linda fully understands what it is like to feel miserable and wonder what’s going on and what to do. Her passion is to discover some of the underlying metabolic imbalances as well as provide a measure of hope and concrete steps to regain health.
